February 25, 2021 -- The Hennessy Group, an executive search firm specializing in life sciences, announces the recent placement of Scott Waldman as Senior Vice President, Corporate Development at Albany Molecular Research, Inc. (AMRI), a leading contract research development and manufacturing company. AMRI is a portfolio company of The Carlyle Group and CTGR.

Waldman will drive AMRI’s key growth initiatives globally, including mergers and acquisitions, while serving as a member of the executive committee. He brings over 25 years of experience to the role, in corporate development and as a general counsel and corporate lawyer, with more than 15 years focused on the pharmaceutical and pharmaceutical services industries. Most recently, he was an advisor to private equity firms and select pharmaceutical industry clients. Previously, Waldman worked in a number of executive roles at Lonza Group, including serving as Chief Strategy Officer, where he led Lonza’s M&A activities.
